Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

Madtown 608 Transit(“608 Transit,” “we,” or “us”) coordinates non-emergency medical transportation for riders across Madison and Dane County, Wisconsin. This privacy policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

When you schedule a ride, we collect the information needed to plan and complete the trip — your name, phone, pickup and drop-off addresses, appointment time, and any mobility or accessibility needs. If your ride is paid through BadgerCare, Wisconsin Medicaid, Family Care, or IRIS, we share trip details with the broker (MTM) for billing and verification.

How we use your information

We use your information to coordinate the ride, communicate with your driver and (if applicable) your healthcare facility, bill the appropriate payor, and follow up on service quality. We do not sell your personal information.

Health information

We are not a HIPAA-covered entity, but we treat ride-related health information with care. We share PHI only when necessary to coordinate a ride or fulfill a payor requirement, and we keep records secure.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses minimal cookies to remember preferences and a basic analytics service (Google Analytics) to understand which pages help riders most. You can opt out of analytics in your browser settings.

Your choices

You can request a copy of the information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to legal retention requirements for billed rides). Email 608transit@gmail.com with any privacy request.
